The beginning of the movie was quite slow/boring, they saved all the action for the end of the movie

Wasn't very gripped by the turn of events. Okay. Husband is written way to weak, uncomfortably so. Loved him in killing them softly, miscast here

I found the plot was somewhat drawn out. i don't think any normal people would have stayed so long. Love James McAvoy but fell a little short for me.

The charismatic couples' behavior initialy hides their sinister motives, but gradually becomes more revealling with their disturbing behavior. I thought McKenzie Davis gave an excellent performance with her responses in the various situations. A little bit of a twist when the husband, in a life/death situation, says he doesn't know what to do & his wife , Ms. Davis takes the lead. If you like suspense/thriller + a Little horror, you will probably like this film. rh

The shocking thing about "Speak No Evil" is the depiction of our inability to defend ourselves against harassment: accepting minor everyday rudeness from others in the name of peaceful coexistence, politeness, good behaviour; and in more serious scenarios, showing how defenceless a civilised individual is against these inhuman manipulators The cast's performances and the overall narrative direction remain solid, successfully creating a deeply unsettling weekend experience.
