It was such a good movie! I couldn t believe what I was seeing was true! I felt so bad for the sharks having their fins cut off and all :( I hope everyone will become aware about how badly sharks were and are treated.
omg i was nearly crying when i saw the poor sharks getting their fins cut off! it was such a good movie and im glad my science teacher showed our class the movie :)

I love =the sea very muth please please help help the sharks
thank yuo for you doing this movie .we discusse with my class at college and teather about how can we save skarks?I hope all the best for the sea
THis film is eye-opening in so many ways. I always thought Costa Rica was an advanced eco-friendly nation. I never realized they are a corrupt nation that allows such a horrid practice of shark finning. Shark finning is one of the most inhumane, disgraceful things man can do to another living creature and all i the name of money. I didn\ t think my opinion of human kind could get any lower but sadly it has. So much of earth\ s animals are heading towards extinction because of the greed of Asia.
When i get big i wohnt to do the same your do:)
What your do it so amaxing:)i am werry happy for the work your do:)
hi, my mom and i saw the sharkwater yesterday, after having seen your movie, we support your case 100%. and already shared it on facebook. and have forwarded it to my teacher. anyways good work, your movie shocked us. and we will go on from here spreading the word. josie/Danmark - Fuur
thank you for doing the movie. why have we been put to think so silly about sharks, we must change that. I will tell my friends and teacher.
The sharks are the most beautiful animals in the world.
Sorry, my English is not very good, but i still want to say what i think after I have watched this film. It is really a amazing movie and it made me cry. I\ m a Chinese student. Before i watched the Sharkwather, i thought the sharks were fierce and dangerous. I first knew this film was in a local newspaper. Some of the Chinese think that eating a shark fin soup means you are rich, You can see shark fin at Chinese big restaurant. They never think eating a shark fin is cruel. I watched the film over and over again so I can remenber the details and tell the fact to all my classmates and friends. I hope this film will be shown at Chinese theatre because it can wake up the people.
This movie left me speechless. We cannot allow for things like this to happen behind our backs. Rob Stewart, you are the reason to fight. Great film.
that documentary is the best. we must stop to eat sharks !
Very nicce!
This documentary made me so angry I had tears in my eyes. Could we humans be any crueler? I have always loved sharks and I plan on studying and researching them after I finish school, but this moving film made me so upset that I am doing everything I can to get out there and help protect these majestic creatures in any way possible.
This is the most moving documentary I\ ve seen yet. How cruel can the human race get?
I watched it on HBO last night, and I almost couldn\ t move during the film but kept mumbling \"oh no, oh no\". I will never eat shark fin soup anymore.
Thank you for making this great documentary. It gives important facts people need to know. No more shark fin soup for me.
And here I thought no movie can ever make me cry.
I first watched this documentary without sound. I took in what I saw at face value and could see how beautiful sharks are. I appreciated the shark as part of the earth, just as valuable as any other species. I applaud the work of Rob and countless others, inspiring to move into a more sustainable direction in human interaction and the earth. I am thoroughly disgusted with the disregard humans have for the neighbors we share the earth with.
Now i realise that shark are beautiful creature in the world. and this movie change my view of shark. i planing to stop eat shark fin.
Hafa dai Mr. Stewart from the Island of Saipan, Northern Mariana Is. I just watched \"Sharkwater\" and it was a great masterpiece. An even greater news from the students on our island is your possible venture out here and filming of our vast and endless beautiful ocean and shark\ s life. It is with great honor to be meeting you, our community is very excited. We guarantee your journey out here will be a great experience. Thank you for considering to visit our small island. We are striving to protect our ocean marine life just as you have. Thank you and hope to see you soon! Trina
Just finished watching this miraculous film and I loved it more than I could ever imagine! I had tears in my eyes more than once during this movie. Thank you so very very much for making this wonderful film. I personally want to make sure that everybody that I know and love sit s down to watch this! Peace and Love
I decied to do my school speech on this to try and help you stop this slaughter
Very good film. See it!
Très beau film qui montre à merveille combien les hommes peuvent être cruels envers les animaux dans le seul but de faire du profit
Thank you for bringing light to the world with this film. It captures what needs to be said magnificently and projects knowledge to those who are oblivious.
Hey, I loved the movie, and it changed my life forever. I am now making a petition to present to \ The House of Commons\ to protect sharks until reproductive age. However, I have to say, I\ ve contacted sharkwater numerous times and you have helped little. Thanks so much for fueling the passion but not helping, it speaks volumes.
This movie truly inspired me. I am now pushing my brother into becoming a marine biologist so he can do something about this tragic global issue.
Is mankind really a highly evolved and intellectually superior species or is mankind merely, as Mr. Paul Watson stated, “primates out of control”… after watching this film, I am more inclined to think we are the latter!
Truely inspiring, and unforgettable. I feel the need to protect them all.
it was an amazing film and i know sharks before but not on this way in this movie all was clearly now for me and it was so impressive I didn´t know that humans are monsters like this its the ugly truth that all is about the money but they don´t see that is kills our world and this graceful animals ... thanks for making this movie Rob it changes the world a piece with you we make the remainder !
an amazing film, it changed me and my whole view!! i think that schools should be watching this so they\ re perspective of sharks can change, so they can make a difference
Awesome movie!Everyone should see it to know whats goin on and how cruel and terrible the human acts!
amazing movie of an awful thing
i just cant believe how humans are destroying the Earth we have to do something we have to stand up for sharks and all nature we have to do something not just complain
every time i see sharkwater i cry, i feel every one should take a stand.. to help you.. thats why i have decided to do my english \"stand up\" project on shark rights and how sharks shouldn\ t have to fear liveing life. just so you know half way through the first time i saw the movie i couldn\ t finish because i was to upset. ever since then sharks are my favourite animal.EVER!!!!1 :::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::)
Sharkwater is a great place to learn about sharks, how misunderstood they really are. Thank you for your work to save the sharks and keep up the good work!
I love sharkwater. I am such a documentary lover, and I ve seen some good ones, but nothing that compares to this documentary! It was so emotional and inspirational for me and after that, I just went oh my gosh, our world is supported by sharks, and we need them! I went straight to this website and hundreds of others just absorbing information like a Will or something. I ve done so much to spread the word, but you can even say anything that would be able to be quoted next to even the mere name of the movie. Thank You for helping us help the world! :)
This movie was so confronting and emotional for me! I am so glad that there are amazing humans like these guys out there fighting for a cause that really matters! I hope this spreads awareness widely and helps put a stop to the corruption and brutality of the shark finning industry!
i\ m totally impressed what you guys are doing out there every day and i\ m grateful to know you are there. The mass-killing in our oceans has to be stopped and i spread the word about that fact everywhere i go.people have to wake up and support guys like you.thanks for work your and that important film you made.
Such a moving film. I cried throughout and truly cant believe the horror some humans can inflict on an animal. Will spread the word. I want to see this stopped so future generations can have the experiences i have had. Sharks do not deserve to suffer by the hands of the money hungry!!
it is the buffalo all over again we got lucky enough to save that speices but they are no lounger as massive as they used to be. sharks will meet the same fate if we don\ t do something
Great movie, everybody should know about this creature, thanks to the efforts of people like yourself,
A very worthwhile cause and great cinematography. Kudos for putting in the effort to educate the masses on this important issue. However, next time: get an editor (or a better one)! The narration read a bit like a first year bio paper... including a few giant leaps and bounds in biological logic, and way too many grammar errors. It kind of takes away from the message and experience (which I was so looking forward to), for those of us who are in the know Cheers.
