Im a Tica girl and was so embarrassing to see my country in the movie, doing something wrong. yes, since we have the deal with Taiwan the sharks are suffering, now we dont have the deal with them but somehow, they´re still suffering...whats happening???? about the costa rican people, we know anything about laws and our presindent says is not his fault, he says that was in another government but we are waiting for someone who want to save our sharks and Rob Stewart is that man!!! please, do something! we cant do it alone!
This movie defintely changed my opinion on sharks. Very intersting and eye opening. Great Work!

me and summer have always been shark lovers, but we couldnt take much action. this year, we have been telling literally EVERYONE the truth about sharks and to go and see sharkwater. many people are sckeptist, (i think i spelled that right.) and its hard to convince them that sharks arent dangerous but we\ ve been trying everyday :]]

Just two weeks ago we dived in Galapagos, and last year we dived in Coco´s Island and we found amazing amounts of sharks ,fortunately. But we have to protect sharks at any cost, no matter what. I was very upset that your film was showed only for one week in Boston´s theaters on Nov 02 , I missed it! I am residing in Mexico City and strongly encourage you to show the film in MEXICO . I bought your book Sharkwater at Barnes & Noble, it is very good! Is there any way to buy the DVD? I would like to show it at our private schools in Mexico . CONGRATULATIONS
inspiring! how can pepole do this? im only a kid but i know more then most adults do about wildlife! ut this i cant understand! why is this happening? what are you doing to stop this?

The most moving film you will ever see in your whole life.
Wow, this really seems to be a great documentary! Also from the point of getting a better understanding of sharks and the need of protecting them, it\ l be important to broadcast. Munich (DE) is waiting on that Dominic
That story looks to be nice and I hope that people will understand shark and will participate to protect them ! I am very exiting to see the movie in France sooner. I am going to write an article on my french scubadiving web site sooner (www.paradise-plongee.com). If you want to send me a special text about SharkWater for my portal, I will publish it with pleasure. Best regards (and sorry for my bas english !...).
Thanks Rob, for this movie.
I\ d really like to see this documentary! Hopefully it gets to the US theaters and shelves soon!
love the movie. i work in Costa Rica and the influence of money here makes the US Congress members look like saints compared to government officials here. the working class here is appauled by their government and hopes the embarrassment results in and end to this. hope springs eternal.
Shark lover in Austin, TX anxiously awaits award winning documentary. To be continued...
Any scheduled showings in Seattle yet? There are a bunch of shark lovers up here that really want to see this!
Un très beau film qui donne envie de plonger et d\ être plus vigilants à notre propre place (êtres humains) dans l\ écosystème terrestre. Pourvu que les consciences s\ éveillent devant tant d\ injustice et de cruauté motivées par l\ argent.
waiting impatiently in the Washington DC metropolitan area. Quickly bring it here I love documentaries.
J\ ai beaucoup aimé votre film; et j\ espere vraiment que tout le monde aura une image autre des REQUIN, car cela serais terrible s\ il venais à disparaitre de la TERRE.
I´m a costarrican, I know how this cruel reality is happening here in my dear country, I hope this documentary help to make consience about this, so world change of mind and become to be a nature protector civilization.
Currently getting my Diving Certification because I want to witness the oceans beauty. Saw this movie a few days ago and its very disturbing how Sharks and other animals are hunted and wasted. Great film Rob!
Made me go rent the JAWS series again... sooooo?
Still waiting patiently in Houston, TX. Please bring Sharkwater to our town.
I\ m a Costarrican, saw the movie and i agree that we all should see it. Mostly our government people. I will like to congratulate MARVIVA for their excelent job in ISLA COCO and all the effort to protect our marine biodiversity.

These guys have the right idea! I live in a town called Tiburon which is shark in spanish and almost no one listens to me about this. Still haven\ t seen it but I\ m definately going to.
I haven´t seen the movie. Today (Nov.16th)is the premiere in my country, Costa Rica. I´m looking forward to seeing it!! I just wanted to let you know that there´s a campaign going on now in Costa Rica to save sharks from these atrocious acts. Malpaís, a Costa Rican musical group, has released a song about the topic, too. It is quite touching. Thank you for the awareness the film has brought to us all.
I can\ t wait to get this in my area. I e-mailed my local theater chain here in G.R., Michigan, and they are working on getting a print.

Rob, You and your staff, production crew are our heroes here in Miami, Fl at St. Timothy School. 420+ attended the film on opening day. Along with enjoying the beautiful cinematography, your exciting story and mission, our eyes were opened to the plight of sharks and our world. We will pass this message on to whoever we can. Keep up the great work!
hey rob, this is lainie and summer again, we heard that you were going to schools and giving presentations and we really want you to come to our school and talk to everyone because everyone thinks that sharks are maneaters and we try to convice them that they\ re wrong but they dont listen to us. so we need you to come to our school and change their minds. by the way we still think you\ re the most rad person to have ever walked this earth and you\ re our idol and we want to be exactly like you.
When i saw this movie, all i could say was \"unbelievable\" and all i could think was of how we, the dominating creature of this planet, can be so stupid the majority of the time. People just don`t get it, not only are we destroying an amazing animal, but we are destroying the oceans as we speak. Sharkwater was a very, very moving film. go see it, and take your friends with you!
I went and saw this documentary and it was one of the best movies I have ever seen. I reccomended it to all my friends and i also recomend it to anyone reading this that has not already gone and seen it
Ignorance is bliss. I had no idea that this was going on. The extent of this makes me sick to my stomach. I hope this helps slow or end this typical human waste. Fishing beacuse you need to feed your family is fine but the waste that goes on with shark finning is discusting.
what a beautiful sad film, i cried what are we doing to this beautiful planet, everyone should have to see this film it applies to so many things, one of course being the beautiful shark it also shows how a few people can make a difference wonderful job to all involved on this film, congrats does anyone know how and when \"people\" became so afraid of sharks it started way before jaws
This documentary is something everyone should see. Maybe then some will realize what we are doing and join the fight to stop it!
Sharkwater is to shark finning what the Inconvenient Truth is to global warming. Highly recommend this show to anyone both for the awareness it brings as well as the outstanding cinematography. Go see Sharkwater, then read about how Yahoo! has invested $1 billion in Alibaba, one of the leading peddlers of shark fins in the world. Read more about it at benthic.ca Then let Yahoo! know what you think.
I am just blown away! I have been fascinated with sharks for so many years. It is a family affair in my house. My son is an avid shark lover. I am so thrilled that someone is finally bringing this to light! Everyone should see this movie!!! Together we can make a difference!
Hey, I live in Sweden, how should I do to see this movie?
An amzaing catch. Sharkwater allows us to see and literally feel the devastation that is occuring to some of our most majestic and complex creatures.
Well I mightbeyoung but I know for sure when I grow up what i want to do and that is be a marine bioligist I havent seen the video but the trailer almost had me in tears
Saw the film with my husband this past weekend. I cannot stop thinking about it and the plight of those beautiful, misunderstood animals. Furious at those who inflict suffering and cruelty for the sake of profit. Grateful that Rob has given us some insight into this problem and hopeful that now more will be done to save the sharks.
amazing. changed my life and view on sharks forever,
