This film did cost me quite a lot of sleep- but it also did remind me, why I\ m studying Biology. Thank you- and keep on fighting!
From tomorow me and my girlfriend will be greenpeace members ... thanks to this movie. Go and do the same, we need to do something and to help those who are doing something.
Amazing movie. I\ ve always had a love of sharks but didnt know how far we has humans had gone to get what we want. To see the lies that people say to keep the fear of sharks alive, and money in their pockets. Rob keep up your work to save sharks and people will open their eyes to see the truth and beauty in them.
Hi!im in france. i live near the sea in brest. your film is really great. i knew the sea shepperd with the book \"au nom des mers\". it s great you can work with paul watson. i wish i could help you to fight against this ecological massacre. keep on your fight! i support you. congratulations
My husband Joseph and I watched this movie yesterday. I love Sharks since I was a child and watching this movie really hurt me. Seeing those sharks butchered for nothing made me sick in my stomach. I hope that movie will open the eyes of many people. Sharks have to be protected like all the other endangered species!! Please keep it up, Rob!!
i live in France.Once i heard about this film on TV and i\ ve waited for several weeks to see the movie in the cinema.i\ ve been deeply touched by it!i think it\ s very audacious to take care of sharks because everybody are afraid of them.i told my family and all my friends about this action and i hope they\ ll take it seriously! continue what you\ re doing Rob,it has done its effect on a lot of people... congratulations !
I\ ve always had an interest in sharks they are my favourite wild life animal. I was hoping one day to be able to swim with sharks. I rented Sharkwater which now I\ m going to purchase. This movie is beautiful and now you can understand the truth and why sharks are important to us. Sharks are not man eaters!!! this movie is touching full of life and full of passion it moved me emotionally I recommend this flim for every one it will open eyes to the truth God Bless the sharks and all wild life and bless Rob
I saw Sharkwater yesterday with my son. Great film with strong message to human people ! Protect sharks against all barbarians that kill for money without thinking of future generations. Keep the faith in humanity !
After viewing SHARKWATER (absolutely great movie), here is my new definition of the initials of a SHARK: \ S\ ave these \ H\ eroes \ A\ way from the \ R\ eal \ K\ illers: the Human Being
I\ m french. You and your staff are really amazing...Just a big THANKS for everythings you do..we must change people\ s mind.. Thank you...
it\ s because of (unfortunately) \"jaws\" that I owe my passion and my fascination for the sharks. I find on the other hand monstrous the way in which they are pursued and exterminated. Continue your actions and do not release anything
I saw the film yesterday and I\ m still upset. I wish it will open many eyes on the role of each species. I will dive with sharks as soon as I can!! thank you and congratulations for these so wonderful images.
Bravo pour votre courage et merci pour nous ouvrir un peu les yeux sur ce massacre... Continuez votre combat
Sharkwater was moving. It really inspired me to do something, which I am going to! I could actually feel my heart move. Simply amazing. All with you. You\ re amazing, Rob!
What an amazing piece of work, from the oceanic views, to the defiant shots of the fin black market. Incredibly done, there must be something very special about your energy that you were able to survive this journey & porduce your film to lend a helping hand to your cause of saving sharks and learning to treasure our waters. I only hope that individuals like you and the rest of the film crew continue to accumulate in numbers and passion and that soon we will begin to make change happen, becuase as humans we have the ability to destroy, but our greatest ability has been to generate life and regenerate that which we\ ve broken
I\ m living in France and I\ ve just seen the movie tonight with my boyfriend. Well, just one word : THANKS. Thanks for shooting and showing such a documentary. I just wish the governments that let wild shark fishing be, will very soon get the message and make this unbearable massacre stop once for good. And really, congratulations for the courage of all the movie team during the adventure in risky countries. The documentary is really well made. Bye.
I live in Switzerland I saw this movie 3 hours ago and I run on this website to try to do something to have more information. I\ m disgusted about what was done to the sharks in the movie. People don\ t have heart to do that ! It\ s really a good movie it really touched me and my husband I cried and it touched my heart deeply. I\ m with you. Congratulations Rob.
At least a film that reveals barbary and stupidity of mankind against animals beings. If only we could all be a little bit more active against such activities and less passive! Thank you very much, I hope this movie will give weight to ecology and respect of the nature.
Thank you, rob, that you are on earth. Stay how you are!
Very important movie. I saw it with my son and his friend. I was crying for all the animals dying only for money. Thank you
Hi! I\ m french and I\ m going to see \"Sharkwater\" on monday or tuesday. Thank you so much because it is the film I\ ve been waiting for all my life (although I\ m only 14 !). As soon as I see the movie, I will tell you my opinion about it , eventhough I think it\ s going to be my favourite one !
I just purchased sharkwater on dvd and immediately opened and watched it. It was breath taking. It is an amazing film that I can watch and share everyday. Thank you for everything you do and for the people you are.
Thanks for this incredible movie! here in germany it just got into cinemas and i can`t wait to have it on dvd to show it all my friends and family gonna see this with my 10 year old sister a second time, cause its so important to tell young people those things for that they may do better then we did...
Verry good film, Save the sharks
I saw your movie last night and it certainly pulled on alot of emotional strings for me. I commend your tremendous effort at public education and showcasing your movie to the world. However, I believe a dramatic social shift must come about in Asia which no longer identifies shark fins as a delicacy or healing medicinal ingredient. Boycotting restaurants in your city or town that serve fins is a start, but I would like to see a link with some guidance information on how the average public citizen can increase pressure on whatever political authority in order see changes come about!
It´s nice to see, that someone is doing what Cousteau begon a long time ago. I´m a Shark lover since I was little, and I´m glad that people can see and show how awesome those creatures are. Thank you for this touching movie, which will, I hope, help the sharks and us. Merci Beaucoup, et bonne chance pour continuer cet aventure.
If you think your safe, without sharks, your dead wrong! Amazing movie, Rob, I will do my best to keep spreading the word!!!!
What emotion this amazing movie. I hope it\ s just a movie and never become a tribute to sharks. Tell me what can we do all together to stop this international murder... Thank you so much to all of you who take care of our earth, I can imagine that sometimes the volunteers, the savers of earth, you are, you could feel to be alone but you are not, you are all of you behind you and support all of you. And if you need our help, you just have to ask, please...
Good movie, good quality. If u enjoy sharks watch it. If u care for our planet. Watch it.
This movie really made on impact in my home, I watched it with my son, who is 4 years old, he now says that he wants to grow up and be a voice for sharks. thank you
Just wanted to say thank you for making that movie and for not giving up. I\ m a sea lover. can\ t live without. I cry since i\ m a little girl when i sea animal being killed. I cried when i saw wharkwater. People need to know to change their mind regarding sharks. I fighting everyday for them and all other species, for the environment. I hope this movie will make the difference. Thank you so much again.
The \"we are no more than primates\" part of the movie is so true! I knew about sharks but not to that extent... Thank you so much. I am gonna make sure as many people as possible see it.
This was so moving.. i never cried for sharks before. I can\ t believe the cruelty that these poor creatures endure. they are tortured. they are so beautiful and magnificant. I have always been drawn to the great white, so beautiful, i want my children to see the wonder in them that i do. When i was in school they had adopt a whale, they should do that for the sharks now. what a joy it would be for the kids. I know my girls would love that.
I\ ve been waiting to see this movie for five months because it wasn\ t playing in my area. I bought the DVD the day it came out (today) and watched it. It is by far the best movie I\ ve ever seen and went beyond all my expectations.
While Asia is a large part of this issue, they are not the sole offenders. Today on Facebook, a girl from the UK stated that there are restaurants there with shark fin soup on its menu. Regardless of location, one way to get results is to get as many people as you can to pretend to be interested in eating at these places, then storming out in response to this item on the menu. It is important to make it clear that that is the reason you are leaving! More people doing this will equal more swift results!
I am feeling more than touched watching this marvelous piece of art - taken a deep, deep breath... I am longing to meet my friends then soon again... deep down, where life is worth living. Thank you ROB for what you have brought to ALL of us.
back home in the Comores Islands, the Chineese and Japaneese are feeding our ministers with 4X4 Toyota and we all know why ,but today by watching this film you open my eyes man , and how or whene but somethin will be done soon or latter Nazir FRANCE
This film is a real eye-opener in what goes on behind environmental law, that is, legislation and enforcement can be two different things. Thank you for making this movie! The photography is beautiful and so, of course, are the sharks!
I was really touched by the movie. Thank you so much for making me aware of what\ s going on...I had no idea about this issue. I recommand this movie to everyone! Please spread the word. Once again a huge thank you and congratulations on filming such a wonderful movie. Robin S.
I loved sharkwater -- beautifully shot and exciting to watch. Nice one Rob
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THAT MOVIE! Looking forward to see it in the german cinemas soon!
To Rod and the Entire team… well done! It took courage and you are making a difference! This is one of the - real issues - we as a global society need to deal with; otherwise the issue is going to deal with us. And if we sit on the sidelines and wait for the issue to deal with us, it will be to late. The time is now, not tomorrow. Keep it up! It’s Time Solutions
This is an outrage! If dolphins were finned in this manner, there would be a public outcry! It is all because of image and reputation that nobody has defended the sharks until now - and this reputation is largely incorrect. There should be Greenpeace movement or something of the sort in this case! Although Britain is a contributor, Asia is certainly the primary offender. I hope that the next asteroid headed to Earth hits China head on! I will recant this statement if they change their ways; until then, the sentiment stands!
Rob - No amount of praise would do you or your project proper justice. You are truly a Godsend in every sense of the word - just what we and the sharks truly needed! Had you not put forth the effort, bravery, and unavoidable risks in making this documentary, it\ s possible that nobody would have; and the atrocity would continue to be ignored or swept under the rug. You have implemented the benchmark for true change. THANK GOD FOR YOU & GOD BLESS YOU!
The individuals in this film are true heros. This really was an eye opener and I am shocked at what goes on in the world s oceans. I hope this film will establish a new beginning for sharks and give them back the oceans that belong to them.
I went to see the film today in Ales (France). Je suis sorti de la scéance les yeux grands ouverts. Un trés beau film qui laisse à réfléchir et nous ouvre les yeux. Wonderfull
