This film is truly amazing. Everyone should see it whether they love sharks or not. People need to know what is going on in the world, and we need to do something about it. It is unbelievable how many people think its o.k. to do that for a living. These animals are seriously beautiful. And I don t know about you, but I WANT MY SHARKS IN THE OCEAN - NOT IN A BOWEL OF SOUP!
I ve loved sharks for as long as I can remember, watching this made me hate societies stupidity for not learning the facts, where did we go wrong? Every one needs to watch this, Rob Stewart takes it to the next level with this documentary, showing the truth behind what so many people turn a cheek to. I cried a lot, but I learned so much more, and I am thankful to that. I can't wait to watch Revolution and learn more able what I can do to help.
For this film will touch you it s so sad what greed does to the human soul..for this must stop..
This movie made me cry. Why such cruelty? Only the human being to do terrible things like that...
Stop shark finning and start portecting our sea environment
I was in tears when I saw this. This movie deserves to be seen in every theater, restaurant, house, hotel... If magic exists on this earth, it is in the sea. I want future generations to see the true beauty and wonder of these animals as well as other marine creatures. Stop shark finning and longlineing once and for all!
the best and most important movie i ever seen spread the word, i have!! Also see the movie THE COVE! same thing but about yhe killing of dolphins
This is an absolutely inspiring film that is moving and raises awareness about shark finning. I truly hope that more people watch is and are motivated to make a difference.
I came across this on my tv and I was almost in tears! I went to hawaii and went in a shark cage to see these creatures, they truly are amazing. I will be sure to pass this on.
One of the best documentaries I have ever seen. I discovered it via a shark conservation search online. Everyone should watch this, and if you aren t moved, there is a real problem. Shark finning is disgusting and needs to be stopped. How would you like it if someone cut off your ear & threw you back today to die? Exactly.
Never give up fighting illegal shark finning!
I almost cried. Support Paul Watson and Sea Shepherd to stop this cruel crime! Together we are strong!
This documentary shows us that we are surrounded by greedy people who only want money and power. Cutting off pieces of an animal for money is disgusting and cruel to the species. We are more intelligent then anything else on this planet yet we can not figure out that we need these creatures? This film proves to us that man kind is nothing more than savages looking for a way to get money in todays world. This film should be in schools and recommended to as many people as possible to show how these majestic animals are mistreated every day. It gets to me every time I watch it or even talk about it, and that feeling is my reason behind doing something for these creatures.
This documentary was beautifully done. Not enough awareness was available to me before I saw this. I had actually been studying ecotourism in Costa Rica and now I am going there to interview locals on their opinions on the shark finning ban.

It makes me feel sick to see once again that money controls everything in this rotten world and unfortunately, I do not believe that the dedication and commitment of only a few, can change anything. One day, Mother Nature will give us a lesson we will never forget and we deserve, for destroying in such a cruel and petty way, what she has lent us ..
i just thought it was amazing! i learned new things about sharks. i wish i could get to learn even more. thank you so much for this movie.. i cried when they were killing them then tossing them back in the sea
I am 17 years old and the first time I watched this movie, I was 12: I cried like a little baby. I still do. It opens the eyes of the people which before would not have looked twice at a shark before fleeing from its sight. It makes one think of the "what ifs" that should have a place in all of our minds and it also shines a light of pure beauty upon an animal which is very misunderstood, just like the most of us. It truly is brilliant and I would recommend anyone to view it.
My favorite movie! The world needs change, and this movie is starting it!
Truly an inspriational documentary. It reminded me of "The Cove." I hate the fact that assholes still do these things illegaly. I m very happy that people s eyes are starting to open and realizing the ocean is part of our reason for existence. Thak you for opening our eyes.
it totally changed my mind about sharks - impressive documentary...
now i know i must stop the Taiwanese mafia before sharks are gone.
Stop consumption of sharks
If its not green im not buying!!!
Amazing documentary, really opened my eyes about sharks. It gets me upset when people still practice shark fining and kill sharks around the world.
i love sharks i would kiss one and do anything with it ANYTHING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i love sharks more than people
This was an amazing doc and very insightful. I learned a lot. I would recommend it to anyone and everyone. It is a bit graphic, but it gets right to the point and demonstrates the reality of what is going on in today's world, in the oceans and above them.
slaughter of the innocence
Too much gore

Eh! This was a truly inspiring movie, before i wasnt the greatest fan of sharks, but now i admire them ! I never knew how cruel people were treating these animals! :( It really upsets me! My friends and i our going to do some fundraising to help save the sharks!
My school watched this doc and we were inspired to create a club that would save sharks and other endangered species. Thank you so much for all you do.
I m a senior of Chinese origin. In my life,I ve eaten umpteen bowls of sharksfin soup without ever wondering how or where they came from, to my greatest regrets now. Now I will never order one and will protest to any invitations to any banquet or dinner parties with sharkfins on the menu. In fact, every time I think of the images of those mass cruel practice of sharkfinning, I can t help start sobbing. Yes, to show this film in China, especially to youths and children is essential, and I already contributed my financial support for this. I also urged all my Chinese contacts on my email list to see this film.
A truly spectacular film! I hope that this will open the eyes of people all over the world to help your cause. Best of luck to you! Thank you.
It s one of a kind movie that need to be watched! Such an inspirational film about an animal I respect so much. Even if I m living in the mountains where most of the water is frozen.:) I remember when I was a little kid and my family and I used to go to exotic places for diving, I was the kid who was standing in front of the restaurants telling the people not to order shark... Rob Stewart, I really admire your work and everything you have done so far for saving the sharks! Thank you for such an outstanding and inspiring documentary!
Brillant film. Great footage. Awesome soundtrack. I am glad that someone is doing something to help sharks and I am disgusted that governments are doing nothing. I have always liked sharks and will continue to protect them. Thank you for a superb film and for having the guts to make a stand.
Okay so I watched this film so long ago and did a project on shark finning before the movie was realesed. I m now only 16, but I still have a love for this movie and the actions put towards stopping this. Rob Stewart, you re my hero. Thank you for all you ve done.

I loved this movie :) Thank you Rob stewart! I love sharks now! :)
Please learn how to pronounce Costa Rica.

Thank you for making this movie Rob Stewart. You ve changed my perspectives on sharks by watching this amazing film. I never thought that sharks can be such a huge impact in the ocean. This has changed my life and to understanding the ocean life alot better. I have considered becoming a marine biologists to help and learn more about marine animals and such. You re truely an inspiration.
I saw this movie for the first time in Grade 7. It has changed my life. I have even considered becoming a marine biologist over it. Instead I have decided to become an Animal Rights Lawyer and will do pro bono work to save all types of animals that are wrongly taken advantage of.
protect sharks take a stand. We need them. You will see. Sharks are like the o-zone layer you wont miss it antill it s gone.
The film was one of the most amazing films on sharks i have ever seen! I can not stress how important sharks are to the survival of man. Sharks should be loved and protected so that one day anyone who wants to may swimm side by side with the sharks they love not just letting humans hunt them to death. The killings of sharks is one of the cruelest things anyone can do. People should be prosicuted for murdering sharks. By having more people like Rob out there we will force the world and government to take action and protect these beautiful creatures. We need so much so stand up be herd and take action!!
Great film and I only hope that the world is not too late to save all sharks. To think that 10 years from now, we may not have sharks, bears, fresh water, oil and many other things that we don’t appreciate is truly embarrassing. It s time that the world is managed using logic instead of self centered approaches to economics and politics.
Thanks for a wonderful job! I hope that more people wake up and that people realize what our ego does to the world! We must do something now before it s too late.
This is the most amazing documentary i have ever seen. I m always trying to get more and more people to watch it! Since watching this movie i always check to see what a fish and chip shop sells in it before i purchase anything!! i recently went to our local markets and saw that they sell shark fin at their pet shop. "4 your pets" @ Eumundi Markets, QLD, Australia. i proudly told the store owner that i would no longer like to purchase her products that i was holding in my hands purely because of this!!!! Thank you for producing this and opening our eyes!!!!
I m really glad this was one of the two films I selected from Reel Canada to watch. It really opened my eyes.
