i love to stop shark killing
This documentary touched me. And it made me so angry! I can\ t believe what humans are capeable of doing to animals.. Thank you so much for making this great film. I can\ t really express how much respect and love I have for people like you. This world needs you. I will try to pass this film on to everybody I know.
Sharkwater was definetly the best doumentary I have ever seen, and one of my top overall movies. He exposed the treachery of what is really going on and shoed the true beauty and necessity of sharks. I found this movie amazing and life changing. Thank you so much to Rob Stewart and the Sharkwater crew---you\ re amazing.
Continuez de vous battre...
watching this documentary is a pleasure within itself....the killing of these beautiful creatures must stop....
I\ m a keen scuba diver and Rob is absolutely right that anyone who dives with these amazing creatures can\ t help being changed forever. I\ m in awe of the commitment that people like you and Captain Paul have in devoting yourselves to such worthy causes. You have inspired me to tell everyone I can about these injustices and to promote awareness. Knowledge is power. Thank you for your great work guys.
Insightful and moving film, you brought my awareness of these creatures out of the dark. It would, however, be appreciated if it would be possible to receive a list of the 16 or 17 nations where it has been deemed illegal. I\ m in the process of meeting with my member of Parliament to discuss this travesty.
This movie is AMAZING it has changed my perspective of sharks so much! I think that we should have a strike to end sharks killing. Please I feel very touched by the movie and i give props to that man in the movie with the sharks
this movie changed my opinion on sharks! i feared tgem for my whole life but i see now that they are not out to kill us. This movie should be played for every person on this planet. i wish that at my age(14) there is something i coould do to help.any ideas, post it. I despise aquariums so i couldnt volunteer there. they\ re the ones who keeps the beautiful creatures locked up in glass buildings. not out free in our oceans. SAVE THE SHARKS
Hi I just watched sharkwater and I am thoroughly disgusted at the treatment the sharks are getting. It is wrong to kill an animal for its fins and then throw it back in the water to die. If someone treated a dog or a cat like that they would be jailed and I think the same should happen to all people who torture and kill an animal. The sharks are a beautiful and majestic animal and are very misunderstood. Governments need to ban together and stop this atrocity.
my biology teacher actually showed this movie to my class, and it inspired me to do whatever i can to help out marine life. now im volunteering at my local aquarium :)
i had no idea this was going on in such masses. i consider this genocide. this documentary has changed the way i look at all animals and the greed of humans. how can a 16 yearold do about something so out of control? pleeeaaas let me know!!!!
It is the best documentary I have ever seen and people should learn something very important from it congratulations on an awesome documentary
Best documentary I\ ve seen! If this doesn\ t make a change i don\ t know what will. Go Sharks!
A great movie, it is!!!!
Amazing film! It\ s hard to imagine what could have been improved. Thank you to imforming us about sharks. Hopefully, everyone who\ s seen it will tell everyone and more people will know about it.
I\ m from china .I\ m so guilty about the ones who eat or buy shark fins .I will remember this film and let more people know about shark.I\ m sorry I can\ t bring translate this website to chinese, but I will try .
super film image magnifique je kiff les squale depuis pres de 15ans longue vie au seigneur des mer
i loved the movie. and i feel so bad for the sharks. i really wanna do something to help!!!!
I come from China. Thanks for this amazing film. Thank you for showing us the truth. Only buying stops, killing can do. Lots of Chinese eat shark fins because they believe that they can get stronger by eating them. Such kind of idea is deeply routed in peoples’ mind, even becomes a dietetical culture. You can image how hard it is to change a culture. Most of them do know what they eat is shark fin, but they still do so just becaues shark fin is a symbol of rich and wealth. The same condition heapens to other wild animals. I have introduced this documentary film to my friends and I believe they will be tauched by it.
I think shark water was a amazing movie I did not know about all the shark that get killed for their fins I want to help. I want to stop the shark if you need help I will do what I can to help what a great movie. The people who kill sharks need to be stoped
Already heard somewhere before that this was going on but never knew the scale. Awareness (especially in those Asian countries where there is a market for shark fins) is key in my view and I praise your commitment to this goal.
Thanks for doing this, it make me realize how important and wonderfull sharks are. this videos are the ones to make understand people to take care of our world.
Excellent movie and inspiring dedication to sharks. thank you for your commitment to saving the sharks and raising awareness to the world! Josh (California)

Just a short thank you note to say how much my husband and I enjoyed the movie \"Sharkwater\", courtesy of your free tickets at the Empire Empress Theatre in Toronto recently. The photography was magnificent and it is a film that everyone should see. Very informative and enlightening and shocking. And how so much corruption and slaughter exists even in Costa Rica and the Galapagos, and of course, Asia!!! Thank you for filming such an amazing film and helping to educate all of us about our amazing planet and how we must protect it.
This could be One of the BEST Documentary films ever produced: Educating & Eye-Opening - thank you for your efforts & composition
I bought this dvd in HMV without hearing anything about it. It is honestly one of the best documentaries i have ever seen. It is a bit of a shock and hard to take in that we are doing this to our planet and an important species. This film must be seen by every person on the planet. Filmed in HD so the shots are breathtaking some scenes are very sad. Amazing!
There were tears in my eyes when I saw Sharkwater. This movie should be seen by everyone. Period.
Amazing movie - I had no idea about the shark fin industry. Well done and the under water cinematography is amazing! A very good balance between adorable moving shots of marine life and the horrors of the line fishing industry. I am spreading the word about this movie.
Thank you for opening my eyes to this world I never knew. I hope this film gets seen by the world to help stop shark killing. We need to put a stop to this quickly to save ourselves and the future generation from the only home we have in this life. Excellent work on the film!
I watched this in the theatres, and I was so moved and felt so sick to my stomach with what was going on. When I was growing up, I have to admit, I did have shark fin soup for special occassions and didn\ t know anything too much about it. After this, I feel so horrible and fell even more compelled to do something about it. I bought this movie and can\ t tell everybody enough about how amazing this movie is and to spread the word! Rob definitely changed my view of Sharks and had 110% of my support!
Amazing movie. i learned so much that i never knew and have definately changed my view about sharks.
Thank you for the eye opening documentary. We really need to render sharks exrtinct!!
the movie was great i have really changed how i see sharks and have joined the petition and am doing a debate on this subject
Not until i watched the film did i realize those stunning facts of fish-fin-soup...sigh~ what a shame:( How I wish I could know this earlier~ Great work, Rob!
exelent work the shark,I lover the shark...
My view on man & what we are achieving as a result of believing we are the most intelligent life on this planet has changed forever. Thank you Rob Stewart for opening my eyes, I will continue to donate to help save the sharks & stop their inhumane slaughter :(
we do needed to save all of the sharks
Rod Stewart did an awesome job!
Rob Stewart and Paul Watson, thank you. I think sharks are fantastic creatures, knowing that they\ ve never needed to evolve, and are vital to the ecosystem. People like you do make a difference. You\ ve shown me the truth and its horrible. Thank you for fighting what is wrong! Thanks again
Thank you for opening my eyes and really amazing!! We most do something for stop finning!!
wow..i already knew that shark finning is wide spread, but i wouldntve thought of it being THIS spread!! that movie once again consolidated my point of view concerning human enchroachments into nature. i just cant understand these people..i mean ok, they probably need the money they get by finning sharks, but how is it even possible for a human being to act like that, to simply ignore the way nature or especially the oceans work?? i love you guys for risking your life to show the world that sharks are essential for this planet..THANK YOU !!!
my chem teacher is showed us this movie because she said that it was really good. YUP! she was right. it was really amazing and changed my view on sharks. this movie is just great!
SWEET VID SHARKS SHOULD LIVE STOP FINNING!!!
Great it changed the way i thought of sharks i now see how important they are and that there not so agressive to us.
I saw this movie some time ago and it changed my life. I have always loved sharks and to see the film was truly heartbreaking. I am so grateful that someone has undertaken the mission of saving this beautiful and majestic creature.
