I watched the film two days ago and still it brings tears to my eyes thinking about the cruelty and injustment that happens to this beautiful animals even at this moment now. I defenitely want to DO something, because this film reminded me of the reasons why I studied biology.
Before your film, I believed that sharks were dangerous. Now I believe that there the ones in danger. Thank you for opening up my eyes and remedying me of the medias poison. Not only SAVE THE SHARKS but SAVE THE OCEANS!!
Thank you for making this amazing documentary and changing my perspective toward sharks. I wouldn\ t eat sharks fin soup anymore. Save the sharks!
Rob Stewart you are the best. You have changed my perspective on sharks completley. This movie moved me so much and now because of you Rob and team, I want to be a marine biologist and dive with sharks. You rock thank you so much for inspiring meee!!!!
I saw it and was so upset! I think it\ s horrible what they do! SAVE THE SHARKS!
I\ m truly moved by the movie. What an amazing crew of people who put this together. Kudos for your integrity, compassion and vision. I will do all I can to help make this abhorrent trade the way of slavery. Keep up the AMAZING work, dont ever be discouraged, what you have done and continue to do IS making a difference. THANK YOU
I\ ve alway been fascinated by sharks and the ocean but I didn\ t realize that they were in so much trouble. This is my favourite movie and really inspired me to try and save them. Just last week I convinced my global issues teacher to show the movie in class. ♥ sharks!
Truly shined light on the idea that people are afraid of something they do not understand. Sharks are something that i think a lot of people get general ideas about from movies and never took the time to realize how incredible and important they are to our world. This movie was amazing. It opened my eyes to a lot of things and truly inspired me to want to help save the sharks.
i love sharks so much that i saw this movie
I just finished watching this movie during the ecotourism unit in my travel and tourism class. This movie was absolutely amazing and makes you clearly understand the impact humans have on the world. It\ s awesome. I strongly recommend seeing it.
very goood movie ik will look at shakrs in a diff way
I thought the film sounded interesting so i recorded it, when i watched it i was so impressed! Now im doing a project on it for socials and telling more people about it, because what they are doing to these poor sharks is not fair!
That movie is breath taking, in a beautiful and shocking way. It left me deeply impressed and ready for some action. Even if it only means to raise awareness. Thank you for doing what you are doing ! Sandra
I love this movie it has really open my mind to this problem. I honestly can\ t belive this is happening
Awareness is the key. I will do my part.
Excellent Job. It hurt me a lot inside.
i love sharks
Before my teacher put this film on, I was scared of sharks and nervous to watch it. By the end it ahd completly changed my view. I was completely shell-shocked and so were all my friends. We had been TOTALLY clueless to what had been going on, and were so surprised! Thanks so much for making the video, otherwise we never would have learned the truth.
You have inspired me to become an activist, and get this information out there. I WILL STOP THIS MURDER!!
The film was powerful and gut renching. I found myself yelling at the screen as the helpless creatures were butchered and left for dead. I have such respect for Rob and others like him who dedicate thier lives to fighting for those who cannot fight for themselves in the world of humans. I will tell anyone who will listen about this cause and encourage people to watch this moving film. Thank you for your bravery and dedication Rob.
I just watched your film Sharkwater and see why you have won so many international awards. It was without question the best documentary/film I have ever seen in my life. Congratulations to the whole team for making such an eye opening work of art.
I am from Australia and despite the media have always had a fascination and passion for sharks as well as other sea creatures. I am glad to see a documentary bring light to this important issue and applaud the efforts taken by Rob and the Sea Shepherd crew. Hopefully when more people become aware of this issue there will cease to be a market for shark fins. To see the footage of Sharks finnless floating to the bottom of the ocean is soul destroying!! Thankyou for this beautiful video and all your efforts! xx
I just recently watched Sharkwater and was appalled by what I saw. I\ ve eaten shark\ s fin soup and now feel extremely guilty for having done so. I will never eat it again and will encourage everyone I know to watch this film. Thank you Rob Stewart for bringing this issue to light and you have my support!
Great film on important subject, but one major issue is really disturbing me with this film. The events of Costa Rica are displayed in different light in Sharkwater and Pirate for the Sea. Fled Costa Rica, or got the permission to go? If it is the latter one, then I am really disappointed in dramatization of events in Sharkwater. As if the subject would not carry the interest of the viewer enough...
I believe that I\ ve seen Sharkwater 5 or 6 times, and now own it. I am a certified scuba-diver, and have encountered sharks on a few dives, they are truly spectacular creatures. This documentary inspired me to write my english speech for school about the effects of shark finning, which then won a prize. Thank you Rob Stuart & Team for creating such an inspiring film.
What an awesome film!! It made me angry & I cried watching it. My 6 yr son has a passion for sharks & was angry at the shark murderers. He is scared that there won\ t be any sharks left when he gets old enough to go diving. He studies sharks & hopes to one day be a diver like Rob. Thank you for making this film.
Thankyou For This Insightful Works :)
Watching this movie mad me sad and furious at the same time. It gave me another extra boost to do anything possible to save the sharks and their environment. They are such beautiful creatures.
I was in my AP Environmental class when my teacher suddenly brought up the topic of shark finning. She recommended this movie and another one called The Cove. I have to say that movie really brought to light issues I have not heard of a lot in the media. To be honest, I knew of people eating shark fins but I didn\ t know to what extremes people would go to for fins. I personally don\ t like going swimming in the ocean but I can relate to the people who are actively trying to save sharks. I admire what you guys are doing and will somehow convince my environmental teacher to show it to the entire class :)
I watched your documentary more than 10 times trying to understand more and to remember as much as i can. I love diving. I went to different places to see the underwater. and i admit that I\ ve been always afraid of sharks!! after watching your documentary i realized that the fear i always had was made by mass media. from now on I\ ll do something to save sharks and earth. Peace!!! from Korea
I come from CHINA yunnan,i\ m poor in english, but i wanna say i love shark very much,i hope sharks can still live on earth.I will never eat shark fin from now on.thanks for you mr.Rob and all protecter!
This evening I just watched your documentary and I want to thank Rob for making me aware of what is happening to sharks. I am so angry, so disappointed in the world for letting this happen...I will make whatever difference I can...
I\ m italian and yesterday evening I.ve seen for the first time your film. I admit that till now I didn\ t know this problem in its real dimension and I was knowing nothing about the real nature of sharks and their importance for the Earth survival. I promise you and to myself that as of now I will spread this very important message to everyone. I love you for all that you\ ve done and you\ re doing for the world. God bless you! Alessandra Cavazzoli
It\ s a shame for Chinese to have such reputation to eat shark fins. Yet it\ s true that most consumers have no idea how cruel the process is, and how severe the consequence could be. I myself is a diver, and I\ ll try my best to spread the information and knowledge to Chinse people around.
This is a very valuable piece of work, I will be doing my best to spread the message to help sharks. Well done, if more of us followed this example we could stop this.
Sharkwater is an amazing documentary and I think Rob did a great job; he said that everything went wrong, but I guess it\ s exactly what he needed to prove anyway. I am scared of sharks, but nowhere the point of seeing them getting hurt by people. That is plainly barbarous and cruel! Sharks are God\ s Creation and He did not create them for us to destroy. They deserve to live!
Hi, I\ m from Argentina. I just saw the documentary and was very sad. I think it is great what they do for living things. I think we men, we do not deserve to live in a place as Marilla. and if something is not understood what I meant is that I do not know English.
why do they have to kill them i wish they can kill the humans that try to harm them
I cannot belive humas are sooo evil. i love sharks are my favourite animals. I wanna do more than just sign.
Impressing, shocking, depressing and inspirational all at the same time.Great photography and I loved the music!!!
Im a Dive Instructor in Australia on the GBR. I will spread the word to the Torism in Australia. Anna
Im only 15 and i am trying my hardest to spread the word about shark finning and how horrible it is, but its alot of work to do so by myself in this huge city and im sooo glad that Rob made this movie it\ ll open people eyes to what they are doing to marine life, and it has also showed me how much harder i need to work to show people how horrific it is, so i rate Shark Water a easy 10/10, Rob please keep up the great work, My best wishes go out to you and Paul <3
I just finished watching this documentary and am horrified at how careless we are at protecting our oceans. No more shark fin soup for me! Definitely going to spread the word and raise awareness for this very important cause.
the movie was awsome, on a scale of 1/10 easily high 11\ s great how it captures whats actaully going on with shark finning and lets everyone else know. i would give my left leg to save a shark! loveuu xx
Wow is all I can say ! I always loved sharks. I even dived with the in Hawaii. And iam sure that this movie will save sharks people will see how important they are. Please do a sequel it will help even more.
Amazing movie! Countries should put pressure on the chinese goverment as they do on Canada\ s seal hunting!
I always loved sharks, but this documentary was amazing. After Shark week on the discovery channel I was a little angry they were only showing shark attack shows other than one show. I put this DVD in and I cried, I can\ t believe how heartless people can be, and now I am trying my best to spread the news. Thank you for doing all you have done.
Eye opening
This movie was absolutly amazing. Im sure it changed the way people look at sharks. im 15 and have beeen diving with sharks since i was 5 and they have never caused any harm to me and they are truly bautiful creatures
WOW! You really love sharks! I am now looking at sharks with a different approach.
