September Tapes
Towards the end of summer 2002, near the Pakistan/Afghanistan border, Northern Alliance soldiers discover eight videotapes produced by American documentary filmmaker/journalist Don Larson. At the beginning of July, less than a year after the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001, Don and his cameraman, Sonny, leave for Afghanistan.
They hire Wali, an Afghan, to serve as their guide and interpreter. Spurred on by his wife's tragic death in the attacks, Don's mission is to track down Osama bin Laden.
