I watched this with my Great Grand children 6, 3 and almost 2. The 2 oldest loved it but the youngest couldnt be bothered. If there was more music and singing I would bet it would have captured his attention. Not for toddlers to enjoy like many other Disney movies.

I think this had a ton of potential but was hurt but how much story they had to put into a short amount of time. I think the plot was great but it felt rushed along. If they were allowed to put it into 2-3 movies, it would be amazing.

My wife and I loved everything about this movie. The animation is amazing and the message is just whay we need these days. One of Disney's best films ever!

A must see for all children and a wonderful wholesome film for the whole family. Action and suspense, colors beyond and the most beautiful dragon somewhat angelic with a unicorn touch.

This is not a true story!! So no expectations except the fabulous color and creations Disney reaches another lever of imagination and entertainment with focus on a very strong and independent female with a great story told and another happy ending!

The story was create but movie failed to meet my high expectations as a Filipino American. There was nothing in the animated world that referenced any specific Southeast Asian country. Raya has many characteristics such as her sword that can be identified with a variety of Southeast Asian countries. But none of the tribal regions had any cultural cues or details in the backgrounds. I was also extremely disappointed by the lack of lyrical music. Southeast Asians LOVE music and singing, with that said and that this movie advertised from the same makers of Moana and Frozen, you expect some music that people and kids will want to learn the songs to. There is LITERALLY ONE single lyrical song in the entire movie and it’s the first song to play during the credits. I was also really disappointed that there was so much hype about the Artist being Filipino and everyone was using the Filipino name of the song to spread awareness. Yet the song in the credits was unidentifiable at first because it was the English version and the English name of the song. I was also extremely disappointed by the lack of lyrical music. Southeast Asians LOVE music and singing and when you advertise that the movie is from the same makers/producers as Frozen and Moana, you have certain expectations. This movie could have been huge but it’s very clear Disney has a severely limited understanding of Asian culture outside of China. And I like Awkwafina and understand why she was cast, but they just cast a bunch of non-Southeast Asians to play the roles and that was also a huge let down. Disney dropped the ball.

Amazing and fabulous! Disney has quite the imagination. The story and ideas, I would give the film a 10, color and animation very different. Once again sending a message about trust and everyone getting along with each other. Reaching for the impossible. A MUST SEE FOR ALL.
