Many of the quays bordering the St. Lawrence River, at the height of the North Shore and Gaspésie, are in an irreversible state of disrepair. These monuments of wood, stone and/or concrete have been neglected over the years, even condemned, in many cases by Fisheries and Oceans Canada. Documentary filmmaker Richard Lavoie went out to meet the people who care about these important sites, allowing them to tell their stories.
