A notorious criminal known only as Hero (Nicolas Cage) is coerced by the local Governor (Bill Moseley) to rescue his granddaughter Bernice (Sofia Boutella) from a cursed place known as the Ghostland.
Given five days to rescue her under threat of an exploding suit, the Hero sets out in this chaotic post-apocalyptic world that blends Mad Max-esque and Japanese aesthetics for a self-described gonzo cinematic experience.
