A documentary filmmaker (Julian T. Pinder) sets out to discover the truth behind The Yellowstone Murders, which occurred in 2009 at Yellowstone National Park. Three young men are murdered in a senseless killing, and even though the murderer confesses, he is set free due to the sixth amendment in the United States Constitution, which states that if a crime is committed in an uninhabited area of land, a jury cannot be procured.
The director interviews grieving family members, then travels to search for the truth in the spot in Yellowstone where the murders took place — a 50 square mile area known as "The Zone Of Death."
