Percy Jackson (Walker Scobell) has a difficult time fitting in at school. When he's expelled for something he didn't do, he's surprised when his only friend, Grover (Aryan Simhadri) seems to turn on him.
Percy's mother decides to send him away to camp, finally telling him the truth. His father is a god, and Percy is a demigod. She sends him to a camp where he'll meet other children who are also descended from gods — Camp Half-Blood. There, he meets up with Grover again, who turns out to be a satyr, and Annabeth (Leah Jeffries). The three go on a quest to stop a war.
In the second season, Percy is joined by Tyson (Daniel Diemer), a cyclops who was taken in by Percy's mom after she found him at a homeless shelter. Regular people don't see that he only has one eye, so he goes to school, and then to Camp Half-Blood with Percy and Annabeth when they learn that Grover is in trouble.
