An in depth look at the story of three teenagersJason Baldwin, Damien Wayne Echols and Jessie Misskellyconvicted of the 1993 murder of three eight year old boys in Arkansas. Dubbed the "West Memphis Three," the teens were found guilty despite a lack of DNA evidence. Echols spent 18 years behind bars on death row, while the other two were sentenced to life in prison. They were released in 2011 due to a plea deal called "The Alford Plea" in which they admitted their guilt before a judge in return for their freedom, while at the same time being allowed to maintain their innocence.
