A tale set in modern-day, Crown Heights, Brooklyn--Latisha, Maria, and Joycelyn are long-time friends and classmates facing the brink of adulthood. The trio has one very strong tie in common: they are talented, hard-working members of their school's highly revered marching band.
At summer's end, their intertwined lives and routine existence becomes undone with the advent of several alarming and unexpected events--resulting in the transformation of their bonds of friendship.
