Leni (Marian Aguilera) introduces her fiancé Rafi (Guillermo Toledo) to her Jewish family. Everything goes wonderfully until he reveals he is Palestinian. During the course of supper, Leni's sister Tania (Maria Botto), a single mother and part time belly dancer, reveals her suspicion that their father is having an affair.
Gloria (Norma Aleandro), Leni's mother, insists on going to the office to catch him in flagrante delicto. While the search is on, Tania demonstrates her belly dancing technique to an ecstatic Rafi. Gloria, returning from her search, asks Rafi whether or not he finds her attractive. Meanwhile, Rafi is worried that he may have accidentally killed their father.
