Trip (Dane DeHaan) is a young roadie sent on an urgent mission during Metallica’s roaring live set in front of a sold-out arena audience.
As the band performs many of their most iconic songs for tens of thousands of devoted fans, Trip's seemingly simple assignment turns into a surreal adventure and he finds his world turned completely upside down.
