A young French journalist named Ada is sent to Kobe, Japan, to cover the ceremonies to commemorate the anniversary of the 1995 earthquake. Accompanied by a Japanese interpreter, she talks to people who survived the catastrophe, but when she meets a survivor named Kenji who’s hiding a secret, it’s Ada who loses her grounding.
