Maximum Overdrive
Steven King takes the wheel in Maximum Overdrive based on his novel of the same name. The film is about a town terrorized by a series of semis that go rogue when the planet passes through the tail of a comet causing machines to come alive and threaten humankind.
Now it's up to a few survivors at a local truck stop to prevent these mechanical monsters from causing any further death and destruction.
