Backwoods Canadian Joe (Ernest Torrence), tired of his lonely existence in the rustic village of Mantrap, rolls into Minneapolis, weds flirtatious young manicurist Alverna (Clara Bow) and whisks her back to his cabin up north.

But Alverna quickly grows bored in the sticks, and when Joe's friend Ralph (Percy Marmont), a divorce lawyer on vacation from women, comes to stay with the newlyweds, she can't resist using her feminine wiles on the strapping newcomer.
