A woodworker works hard to make his business successful. After a fire burns down his shop, he finds out he has no insurance because his agent has been swindling him for years.

He decides to gather a few friends who will help him sneak into the main insurance office and back date his policy. All would go well, if his friends weren't such buffoons. Luckily his son and his secretary have a good head on their shoulders.
