Alice, a London fashion model who's looking for her break as an actress, goes on frequent outings with her rich friends and their boyfriends. After breaking up with her drug-addicted boyfriend Charlie, the young woman finds herself attracted to Felix, who has an emotionally unstable lover.

Felix is infatuated with Alice as well, but Alice's friend Orna, a slightly older wealthy divorcée, doesn't approve of their relationship. The older woman manipulates the people around her, sometimes with tragic results.
