Odette, 9, is playing in her room when her parents’ best friend, Gilbert, enters and offers to play dolls with her in the bathroom. He plays the role of the doll, in which he gets dressed and undressed by the little girl. This game goes on for several months, without anyone noticing. Eventually Odette, who’s an extremely gifted classical dancer, leaves her small town to go to Paris to train at the conservatory. The years go by. Having become a famous contemporary dancer, Odette burns the candle at both ends, marinating in alcohol, drugs and one night affairs. One day, on a whim, she decides to go to see a psychologist, after seeing her sign on the street. Although she specializes in couples’ therapy, the psychologist agrees to help the lost dancer who, for the first time, manages to talk about the sexual assaults she once suffered.
