A film with distinct echoes of Uli Edel's Christiane F. (1982) and Catherine Hardwicke's Thirteen (2002), the Danish juvenile delinquency drama Life Hits (AKA Razone takes an icy plunge into the dysfunction of four young women who bond in a tightly-knit social clique.
The adolescents find themselves bound by drugs, easy sex, alcohol and other lures; one of the women, however, gets railroaded when another's beau makes a play for her - and her friends promptly accuse her of betrayal. They then gang up on the poor young woman and subject her to continual, relentless bullying and intimidation.
