A new teaching method (Action Research) is experienced in La Farandole elementary school in Quebec to prepare the next generation to meet environmental challenges. Under the supervision of their teacher, students learn to identify, analyze and solve problems arising in their environment. Their common goal is to improve their community’s living conditions by addressing the problem of vandalism. But meetings with the mayor and law enforcement representatives move the young people from excitement to despair, and to question their beliefs.
