In a class with students of various ages at the alternative school Nouvelle-Querbes in Outremont, Élourdes Pierre tries to heal his troubled young students by stimulating dialogue. Recent arguments between five girls encourage the gentle and patient teacher to guide them in creating a play based on their tumultuous friendship.
