Lady in the Lake (Apple TV+)
In 1960s Baltimore, investigative journalist Maddie Schwartz (Natalie Portman), who is working on an unsolved murder, clashes with a woman working to advance the agenda of the city's Black community. Maddie becomes obsessed with unraveling the mystery of two separate killings: eleven-year-old Tessie Fine and a Black bartender named Cleo Sherwood.
Based on Laura Lippman's New York Times bestselling novel of the same name.
