In 1995, filmmaker Jean-Henri Meunier decided to leave Paris to settle in Najac, a small village in southwestern France. After getting to know his neighbors and the other inhabitants of the place, he began recording bits of their lives on camera.
Time passes slowly in the village. It’s a peaceful existence, in tune with nature and animals, with some of the villagers just beginning to learn about life while others are coming to the end of theirs.
