Avid cyclist François works in a bike shop. As he prepares to go on vacation with his wife and 17-year-old son, everything goes wrong. His wife and son leave him. Then an absurd incident causes him to get fired from his job. Down on his luck, François meets Rémy Plétinckx, a former athletic director.
With his help and that of Peter Bojean and his family, who are fans of the Tour de France, François decides to set for himself a wild challenge: bicycle every stage of the Tour, one day ahead of the pros. His adventure doesn’t go unnoticed and soon the media, sponsors and supporters bring recognition to the lone bicyclist.
