Gaspard Dassonville, 63, hosts a public affairs program on TV and enjoys multiple conquests with women half his age. But the old man falls from his perch when he learns that the director of the TV channel has hired a younger co-host in order to boost ratings. This worry is compounded when he has to accommodate his father Hubert, who has recently become disabled and who refuses to live in a retirement home.

Hubert falls under the spell of his caregiver, Zana, a Slovenian immigrant. Married to a stolen goods dealer, the young mother responds with amusement to her patient’s advances. And when Gaspard also confesses his love, she doesn’t turn him away...
