Alain is a 40-year-old lawyer who has multiple lovers of both sexes. In order to stabilize his situation at the law firm he works at, he has agreed to marry Laurence, but he does not love her. On the other hand, he is strongly attracted to Christophe who wants to live with him. Meanwhile, Alain is working on a case defending Marc, who he becomes attracted to. Problem is, Marc is in love with Babette and wants Alain to set the two up.
