A really amazing film. The women in this film were so strong, especially the lead character. It is painstaking to watch as she endures blow after blow, and is left alone with her troubles as all those who cared for her abandon her. One of the strongest characters in recent cinematic history. This film is recommended to anyone.

A profoundly moving film. Everyone should see it.

A wonderful film! I couldn`t take my eyes from the screen even though I almost couldn`t bear watching. Sabiha Sumar has done an astounding job of showing how women can be, and are, destroyed by male arrogance and insecurity. Not shouting about it (though shouting can also be good), she pulls us slowly and quietly into Ayesha`s world so that when Ayesha`s world changes we feel the anxiety, suffocation and fear with her. As for myself, I felt frustrated and outraged. The story haunted my dreams the night after I saw it, and it was my first thought when I woke. Kirron Kher was excellent

the best ever film in punjabi; on top of that by a non-punjabi. puts to shame all the so-called punjabi film makers. it made me feel proud of my mother language punjabi, but sadly shameful going by the story.
