Juchitan Queer Paradise
In Mexico, close to the border of Guatemala, is the small town of Juchitan. Legend has it that the patron saint of the city carried a bag filled with homosexuals on his back. When the bag was opened, the men tumbled out in Juchitan. Consequently, this small village became a place of tolerance.
