Yeah let's take some totally unlikable narcissistic feminist super woman wannabe and have her lead a bumbling broken down old Indiana Jones around by his nose, insulting him and making a fool out of him (and punching him out) throughout the movie, then add some anti-capitalist rhetoric and WALA! Another Disney franchise destroyed and the box office receipts have confirmed that
Hate I spent the money in this one.
Seeing the young indy in the first part of the movie felt like a return to Raiders. The older Indy can still kick some butt and ( as opposed to some people) I really liked the god daughter character. I thought they played well off each other and the rest of the cast was very good too. Is it Raiders ? no....but I enjoyed it a lot ! Good ending as well.
Another classic franchise ruined by Disney.,
Everything. I left b4 it was over. I got tired of sitting thru 3 hours of ridiculous action sequences.
I saw it a week ago and I already forgot what it was about. Very dull movie
I will never throw my hard-earned dollars toward another Disney movie or product. After the deliberate stifling of The Sound of Freedom film in an attempt to silence the crimes against children/humanity and all the recent arrests of their employees for pedophilia, their agenda speaks for itself. Use your dollars for your voice.
Huge HF fan here, full of regret and disappointment.
Awful movie
Two and a half hours of non stop boring action that would have held our interest in the 80’s and 90’s. I think that, as an audience, we’ve moved on. The only quality films today are on streaming home services. The theatres only want to show superhero and hyper cgi action movies.
Loved the movie! Big fan of Harrison Ford.
I want my money back.
First of all, to the reviewer below who didn’t know who the “elder” woman was at the end, he must not have ever seen the original Raiders of the Lost Arc ! It was Marion, the love interest of HF in that movie and mother of his characters son in another ! It was a surprising and sweet scene not a “made up sex scene”. Loved it !! So glad they decided to bring back Marion. The dialogue of “where doesn’t it hurt” was so sweet, bringing back memories of the first movie. They mentioned her throughout this film, that reviewer must have been asleep or out for popcorn !
This movie is just a boring rehash of all the previous Indiana Jones movies.
Great Movie! Forget the Reviews! It's an adventure and action movie designed to have fun watching! Wonderful last adventure for Indiana Jones!
I'm glad they had the female interest a Goddaughter rather than a love interest like so many movies with older men. But it was sad to see HF trying to reprise this role, waste of $ and time.
Indy held my attention the whole way through. It followed a predictable formula but that was expected. Loved the A1 touch that youthified Ford but that also made his aging version very sad to see. It's like he'll be dropping off very soon. The elder woman he smooches at the end didn't even fit the story since there's no telling who she was. They just had to make up a sex scene for a has-been leading man.
I wish this would have lived up to my hopes. I did not. My beloved Harrison Ford mired in a muddy plot made a mockery of what used to be. I love you HF, but you're no. Sean Connery and need to give up action films.
A smart, sexy thrill-ride! Bring on the sequel!
This was just average movie, first Indiana Jones gets the artifact then the Germans get then Jones gets it and then Germans get again it just goes back and forth gets old after a while
It had one too many chase scenes but still fun to watch with imaginative scenes. Indiana Jones with Harrison Ford did not disappoint. Nice ending.
How can they do this and expect people to rate it highly? Stupid, ridiculous and juvenile!
Boring and stupid. 80% of the movie is nothing but ridiculous chases. I like Harrison Ford and was looking forward to seeing this movie, but he should’ve set this one out.
Ridiculous movie
I was really looking forward to this for nostalgia reasons. Very disappointed, story was borderline stupid and action was very cliche’..
An everyday hero that chose to make a difference! When he asked, “how many kids have you saved,” my heart broke at the answer. He decided there was a better way! Get the kids out! Why an incredible story that everyone needs to be aware of. We cannot stop something we refuse to acknowledge is even happening. #savethechildren
The best, most fun action movie since Michael Flatley's Blackbird.
I know this is Harrison Ford’s last Indiana Jones series and he did not disappoint. It started with the younger Indy, then moved to the retiring Indy whose life lacked meaning, then Indy is resurrected to an older but still mentally knowledgeable and physically able to taking care of himself and what he cares about in the adventure of his life. In the end he finds peace and comfort in his life. Thanks for this wonderful ending!
They destroyed the Legacy of Indiana Jones and made it into a "B" female Empowerment movie. I think they are trying to push a political agenda more than making a good movie.
Loved the first 3 Indiana Jones movies, all excellent. This movie is much worse than the Crystal Skull. I think they are trying to push a political agenda more than making a good movie. At the end however, how did this movie compare to other Jones titles; acting, screenplay, plot, cinematography, etc. It was just a dismal failure as a standalone. So even a person with no expectations, someone who has never seen the other films or if the other films were not made, this movie is a failure.
Loved it, Harrison Ford still rocks Indiana Jones
Great action and exciting. Loved it.
Not worth your time.
Could not hear them and the sub closed caption was too small and never stayed on long enough to read. confuding story and boring.
Movie is for fans of the famous archaeologist and is a fun filled, sentimental conclusion to the saga. Only issue I had was the casting of Phoebe-Waller Bridge, as Helena. Although not a bad actress, just appeared to be out of place in the movie. My rating is 3.75, not sure why it appeared incorrectly.

Loved it! Enjoyed the characters both old and new and their interactions. The action was great and in the tradition of an Indy movie (though the underwater sequence could have been less murky). A fitting final story for an iconic character!
I was a bit worried that I might be disappointed but I really enjoyed the movie and seeing Indy in action again ! Rates up there with the best of the series. Lots of action and some touching moments too . I'll see it again before it leaves the theatres.
Loved the action, the fun and seeing Harrison Ford in the limelight again!
I really wanted to like this movie. As one of the 'older' fans of the series, having seen the original in the theater when I was a tween, I was hoping a return to the older style. None of it. The plot was soooooo weak, and other than the villain (who was pretty good, but had limited screen time), there were only 2 types of characters: new, contrived characters (e.g. 'god-daughter' - really?), or the old actors dialing in cameo performances, including Ford. Salla, Marion were tossed onto the pile, but with no tangible result. The movie was too long for a story that drags, a predictable outcome, and really a movie that should not have been made, sadly. The only reason it's not 1 star is because the de-aged sequences were actually pretty good (if you can ignore Ford's old man voice coming out of a young body), and as mentioned, the villain was pretty good. What a letdown...
I am glad the reviews are good cause I love the series
DISNEY delivers once again a terrific Indiana Jones film you don't want to miss this one the last one and the best ending will surprise you. Very exciting and the acting was top notch, the scenes were true Disney creations. Wonderful and worth every penny!
Best Indy movie since "Raiders". Non-stop action, good story, good acting.
Best of the series.
It’s the end of an era. And what a great way to go out! James Mangold and Harrison Ford captured the spirit and heart of the character. Harrison Ford is pure magic; an action hero; an icon of adventure and of cinematic history. Spielberg, Lucas, Ford, Mangold, cast and crew - thank you for giving us one last adventure with Indiana Jones! It’s spectacular film! A+
I am embarrassed that I stayed even 1 hour. Harrison Ford has always been a favorite of mine but no more. This movie, and his acting, was just crap. Clearly an sad end of a career.
Exciting, kept interest going, great action, great actors!
Indy Rides Again! For all of you older folks out there, this movie reminds us why we went to see the original again and again. Keeping the mystery of archeology alive, Doctor Jones is drawn back into his past and his love for artifacts that he has held so dear his entire life. When we catch back up to Indy, he has almost lost all reason to live. His life is a shambles and he is retiring from teaching. His God-daughter shows up just in time to drag him back into the present. She has alternative reasons for wanting his help; Indy finds out how many others are after the same piece of history in their meeting. The chase begins and the struggle to find the missing artifacts makes this a worthy story. Indy's old bones and worn-out muscles are put to the test while his God-daughter and her compatriot fight the bad guys in true Indiana Jones style. There’s plenty of references to the original movie to please all the old timers like myself. Getting to see Indy Ride Again makes it an easy choice to buy that ticket and a popcorn !
A worthy sequel to the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. 5/5
If you're an Indy fan, or even if you are not, this movie will not disappoint. It is everything an Indy movie should be.
