Strange things are happening at a school in Japan. Hieda, a recently widowed professor, and Masao, a haunted student, investigate some disturbing deaths and are shocked and appalled by what they find. The school was built on one of the Gates of Hell, behind which demons await the moment they will be released to wreak havoc on Earth.
