As 89-year-old Saket Ram lies dying in his bed, a wave of memories and nostalgia as far back as the
1940's pass through his mind. He thinks about the days when he and his friend Amjad
Ali Khan (Khan) were
archaeologists working on the excavation site Mohanjodaro, who was born before Ram, Christ and other
favorite modern Gods. During the dig, the two discussed the absurdity of the division of India. They
go through the history of Islam, and how the divorce of the nation came to pass.
