19-year-old Brandon Allen's life as a Mormon missionary isn't what he expected: there's too many rules and too few successes. After only one day as a missionary, he's ready to pack it in. His point-of-view changes, however, as he begins to see the struggles and sacrifices that the other missionaries he lives with endure.
