When difficult and odd times were brought upon the world due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Dr. Anthony Fauci quickly became one of the most prolific figures of our time, tasked with controlling the disease for the American people. With a career that spans seven presidents and that has been shaped by the experiences of the HIV/AIDS, SARS, and Ebola epidemics, Dr. Fauci has become a world-renowned infectious disease specialist and is the longest-serving public health leader in Washington, D.C.
This documentary gives audiences the opportunity to not only learn about the life of one of America’s most important public servants, but also his efforts in fighting COVID-19, as he appears on the television screens of the American people for nearly two years, informing them about the disease and how to protect themselves and their loved ones. Not in it for the money or the glory, Fauci finds himself at the forefront of yet another pandemic, fighting a fight that he never feels he is handling fast enough.
