Artists from Portugal, Brazil and Cape Verde present "Fado," a musical style created in the brothels and docks on the outskirts of Lisbon in the nineteenth century. Heartbreaking ballads whose main themes are love, jealousy and death, the songs of fado have changed little in 200 years, but through its expansion in Brazil and Angola, the genre has gradually evolved.
