Three families get to know each other while building a rocket out of sand on a beach in 1990. They decide to take their holidays together every year from then on, whether in the mountains, on the beach, camping or in a city. Throughout the next ten years, they get to know each other, both professionally and personally. On the tenth year, they get together to read out letters they had written ten years earlier.
