Slowly dying from an incurable cancer, Dimitri leaves his apartment in Marseilles and enters The House, a center for palliative care. Soon after he arrives, he becomes uncomfortable with the atmosphere and decides to leave, but a violent faintness obliges him to return. One evening, Dimitri manages to alleviate Charlotte, a distressed teenager whom he accompanies in her last moments of life. The experience leaves him more open to the other patients as well as acknowledge his own inevitable death.
