In the city of Brussels in Belgium, Mavela (Martha Canga Antonio), a teenage girl with ties to the Black Bronx gang, meets Marwan (Aboubakr Bensaihi), a member of a rival Moroccan gang, at a police station.

They feel an attraction to each other, but are aware of the dire consequences of getting involved with a member of a rival gang. Finally unable to resist getting to know each other, they start hanging out and even though they think they have a chance at a life together, a terrifying incident reminds Mavela where she belongs — and more precisely — to whom.

To have a chance at being together and breaking free of their gangs, Mavela and Marwan will have to betray the very loyalties on which their gangs are founded. And they know what lies ahead for them if they don't.
