Beauty and the Beast
This adaptation of the classic fairy tale presents the magical story of the Beast (George C. Scott), a cursed nobleman with a monstrous appearance. When the hapless Edward Beaumont (Bernard Lee) accidentally offends the Beast, his lovely daughter, Belle (Trish Van Devere), strikes a deal with the reclusive aristocrat to save her father's life.
Moving into the Beast's massive estate, Belle gradually begins to see beneath his gruff exterior and glimpse his sensitive side.
