Babe, a little piglet, is won at a local fair by Farmer Hoggett (Cromwell). He misses his mother and his brothers and sisters, but is soon taken under the guidance of the Hoggett’s dog, Fly. Babe becomes friends with all the other farm animals, including Ferdinand the duck, and the many sheep.
Babe decides he wants to be just like Fly and under her tutelage, he learns how to herd sheep, but in his own unique way.
