With twice the budget and love interest Elizabeth Hurley being replaced by Heather -- Boogie Nights -- Graham (Hurley's still onboard in a cameo role) Austin Powers is back to perform at his shagadelic best.
Scarborough native Mike Myers once again plays Austin and Dr. Evil, as well as a third character -- an obese bagpipe fondling Scotsman known as Fat Bastard. Here Powers has to travel back in time to try and reclaim his mojo -- his libido -- that's been stolen by Dr. Evil ... who also has a pint-sized clone known as Mini-Me who's played by 32-inch-tall actor Verne Troyer.Apparently almost 40 percent of the dialogue in the film was improvised and according to director Jay Roach (who was behind the camera for the original movie as well), "Directing this movie is like throwing a really cool party."
