Belle Gibson (Kaitlyn Dever) claims to have remedies to cure her own brain cancer in order to gain social media importance, but finds competition from Milla (Alycia Debnam-Carey), who also claims to be ill and have wellness remedies. The two unravel their lives as they unknowingly — and knowingly — mislead the world.
