A Girl at the Window
Set in a country village in 1925, Marthe, a young woman discovers she is dying from a disease. She makes a deal with a widowed neighbor to marry her if he will provide the funds for her to learn piano in Quebec. While learning to play the instrument, she discovers and falls in love with jazz music. But to learn such technique may risk her fragile health.
