One of the few narrative feature films to come out of Honduras, the gripping and taut 90 Minutes tells four interlinking stories of drama, romance and suspense, all tied together by one of the world's greatest passions - soccer. The lens of the game is used to hook the audience, and portray characters who each face a test, and a life choice.
In the process, the film touches on issues of immigration, drug trafficking, street crime and domestic violence, all the while maintaining its entertaining style.
