In the trailer for Spaceship Earth, eight people spent two years, starting in 1991, quarantined inside of a self-engineered replica of Earth’s ecosystem called BIOSPHERE 2 for an experiment to chronicle daily existence if mankind were to be faced with a life threatening ecological disaster.
