The second trailer for Red Sparrow begins with Dominika Egorova (Jennifer Lawrence) explaining that she was told to take a man to a hotel and in exchange, her mother would get the doctor she needed.

The man was killed and she was given a choice: die or become a “Sparrow.” She is then trained in psychological manipulation and learns the essential survival skills to be a Russian spy. She is assigned to a first-tour CIA agent (Joel Edgerton) who handles the organization's most important Russian mole.

However, she begins to fall for him and suddenly considers becoming a double agent, risking her own life and others as well.
